The FocalPoint product suite supports corporate performance management (CPM) initiatives by improving planning, process monitoring, execution, and response by expanding the CPM initiatives to the operational level through dashboards, notifications, alerts, and predefined structured queries. This functionality provides the agility required to respond to changing business conditions.

FocalPoint allows users to define their business objectives based upon feedback from other FocalPoint business intelligence indicators. For example, failures or delays in the field that have begun to impact customer satisfaction can become Work Management’s objectives for improvements. As this issue is satisfactorily addressed, new potential issues are evaluated, revised and set as new objectives. The objectives are communicated throughout the organization via scorecards that are integrated with supporting dashboards.

This meaningful correlation of data empowers companies to take proactive steps to continuously improve performance and outperform their peers.

Distributed Asset KPIs

Key performance indicators (KPIs) unique to the distributed asset industry have been predefined in the FocalPoint solution. Operational, work management, customer care, employee, Supply Chain and financial performance KPIs are represented.

FocalPoint administrators can pick and choose which KPIs are relevant on each dashboard they construct based on the business needs of the intended dashboard audience. Drilling down on a KPI will lead to the source data and supporting information required to make proactive, knowledgeable decisions to improve their organization’s performance.
