Training Definitions

Technical Training

Technical Training on Thursday, October 22 discusses the Obvient FocalPoint Web Client, Obvient FocalPoint WebPart Administrator, and Obvient FocalPoint WebPart Editor version 6.0.6. The Web Client portion primarily discusses the functionality found within the Options menu of the Web Client. The WebPart Administrator portion discusses creating and managing Users and Security Groups. There is also a discussion of Global QuickLinks as well as the types of WebParts that can be created within the WebPart Administrator: Composite, TabStrip, External, and Report WebParts. The WebPart Editor portion of training consists primarily of different types of WebPart creation, including creating a drill-down, a Query WebPart, and an Active Report WebPart, among others. Associating a Target Range with a WebPart is covered as well as how to create a Property Template.

BIM Architecture Training

This training course will introduce you to the internal structure of the Obvient Business Intelligence Model (BIM) and expose you to the rich set of measures supported.

Other topics will include aligning your data with the dashboards (data true-up), configuring the BI layer and dashboards to more effectively meet your specific business needs, and leveraging the BIM within an ‘Enterprise Data Warehouse’ (EDW) environment.

This is a very interactive set of sessions, where you will get a chance to interface directly with Obvient’s Principal Warehouse Architect.
